Daieplay Makervillage
"Daieplay" in the local Gio language means "My Own Home," symbolizing our commitment to creating a self-sustaining and economically integrated community. Daieplay Makervillage, our first Makervillage, is a 300-acre Estate Village in Kplaytuo, Nimba County, Liberia.
Daieplay operates on a diversified business model, comprising multiple interdependent businesses and a collaborative, interconnected network of organizations, individuals, and technology platforms that work together to create a sustainable and profitable ecosystem. Our mission is to unite people and resources to create an economically integrated village in rural West Africa.

Our Impact at Daieplay:
Economic Growth: Makervillages promote local production, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Food Security: The Agrivoltaic farm cultivates subsistence crops, enhancing food security for residents and visitors, and generates solar energy for all village activities.
Cultural Preservation: Through quarters like the Artisan Quarter, we preserve traditional and tribal arts of West Africa, creating employment and promoting tourism.
Financial Inclusion: The Askia Wallet offers fee-free mobile digital banking, allowing members to transfer money, save funds, and make purchases within the marketplace.
Asset Building: Our Individual and Community Development Account (IDA) program enables participants to invest their "sweat equity" in long-term assets, such as homes, businesses, and education, with a 4:1 matching contribution.
Join us in making Daieplay Makervillage a beacon of self-reliance, sustainability, and prosperity for West Africa.
